Add direct USB printing capability to your PicBox Pearl with this USB Extension Upgrade Kit.
This kit is designed for Pearl owners who want to connect their iOS Photo Booth directly to a compatible photo printer via USB, providing a convenient hardwired USB connection through the bottom of the Pearl.
The kit includes the USB extension adapter/cable and the correct-size hole-saw drill bit needed to install the USB port into your Pearl.

⚠️ DIY Installation Required
This upgrade requires modification of your PicBox Pearl.
To install the USB extension, you will need to completely disassemble your Pearl, drill the required hole in the bottom of the enclosure, install the USB extension adapter, route the cable internally up through the Pearl, and then reassemble the booth.
You will need your own power drill and basic hand tools, along with enough mechanical/handyman ability to safely disassemble and reassemble your Pearl.

The USB extension provides a clean, easily accessible connection point for direct USB printing from your iOS Photo Booth setup, eliminating the need to access the internal USB connection each time you set up your booth.
Please Note: This is an installation/upgrade kit and does not include a printer, iPad, USB hub, or other printing hardware. Direct USB printing also requires compatible iOS Photo Booth software and printing equipment.

Find out which iPad model you have
The easiest way is to use the model number to find out which model iPad you have. You can find the model number in two ways:

Look on the back of your iPad.

Open Settings, tap General, then tap About. Look for the model number in the top section. If the number you see has a slash "/", that's the part number (for example, MY3K2LL/A). Tap the part number to reveal the model number, which has a letter followed by four numbers and no slash (for example, A2342).
